The NTIA to go "on tour" in 2025 with at least seven regional roundtables
Washington, DC (January 6, 2025) - The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) announced last week seven planned regional roundtables focused on broadband program sustainability.
The NTIA leads the Internet for All program, which is working to connect Tribes, rural households, veterans, seniors, people living with disabilities, and other populations nationwide to affordable, reliable, high-speed Internet.
The regional roundtables will provide technical assistance and grant oversight for grantees. Each one will be invite-only. However, day two of these events will include a public meeting from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on broadband program sustainability.
According to an email sent on Thursday, January 2, the roundtable discussions are met to "promote ideation, asset mapping, and regional partnership development. Participants will discuss best practices for ensuring that digital infrastructure and inclusion programs outlast Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) grant funding."
The first of the roundtables is scheduled to take place on February 14 in Atlanta, Georgia. It will cover nine states in the southeast region of the United States as well as Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Head here for details and to register now.
